WELCOME Class of 1996!

It is hard to believe it has been 30 years since we walked the halls of Sumner Academy.

As we gather this weekend to celebrate our reunion, we are filled with joy and happiness to see everyone together again. This weekend, we not only celebrate our 30th reunion, but we celebrate a lifetime of friendships, memories, accomplishments, and the experience of growing up here in “The Dotte.”

Over the past three decades, our classmates have become parents, grandparents, and community leaders. We have also said some hard goodbyes to parents, classmates, and friends. We are professionals, entrepreneurs, educators, military service members, and so much more. Through life’s victories and challenges, we have continued to carry the pride, resilience, and excellence that define Sumner Academy and its motto, “Be the Best.”

This reunion weekend was planned with one goal in mind: bringing our class together to reconnect, reminisce, and create new memories. Our reunion activities and venues highlight the best of our hometown and community while showcasing the esteemed Class of 1996.

This digital commemorative program was created to honor our class, recognize our generous sponsors and donors, highlight alumni accomplishments, and preserve memories from this special occasion. We encourage you to explore the pages and reflect on the legacy of the Class of 1996.

We hope this weekend reminds us not only of where we came from, but also of how far we have come.
